Welcome to the Darla Pettaway State Farm Agent office! Since opening in 2021, my team and I have proudly served the people of Bradenton, FL and our Good Neighbors in and around the Manatee County area, including Palmetto, Ellenton, and Sarasota. I was born and raised in Central Florida, earned degrees from Southeastern University and Salve Regina University, and spent 15 years in fundraising and nonprofit management. My husband, Ty, was a college football coach, and we spent the early years of our marriage moving frequently — six times in seven years! Now, we are proud to call Florida home and love being part of the Bradenton community.

Beyond insurance, I am passionate about building lifelong relationships within my community by mentoring young people and participating in college readiness programs. When I’m not busy with work or community service, I stay busy with my favorite role — being a mom to my two children, Taytum and Trenton. I am also a huge sports enthusiast, having played volleyball during my time at college. These days, I enjoy water sports, coaching young athletes in our area, and taking advantage of all the beautiful outdoor opportunities Florida has to offer.

I feel blessed to have the support of my Good Neighbors in Manatee County, and I look forward to helping my community thrive for years to come. My team and I enjoy working with new and returning State Farm customers, and we also assist those moving to the Bradenton area.
